LEVENT ÇIRPICI
Levent Çırpıcı: “He received his M.A. degree from the Faculty of Architecture, Mimar Sinan University in 1989. In 1994, he and his partner Atilla Kuzu, an interior architect, started Zoom / TPU (Design Project Implementation) Design Company to focus on architectural and interior architectural designs of hospitals, hotels, stores, schools, offices and congress centers. In 2001, he was nominated for the prestigious Aga Khan Award for Architecture for his Figen and Servet Residential Design. He was one of the finalists of the WAF Awards for his Maslak Acıbadem and Liv Ulus designs in 2009 and 2011, respectively. He was the winner of the top prize “First Place Award” selected by Yapı-TurkeyBuild with his exhibition stand designs in 2010, 2011 and 2015. In 2016, he was awarded the Best Designer of the Year Award by Elle Decor (for the T50 design) together with the Ozon Design Team in EDIDA Awards, organized by Elle Decor International Design Awards. An instructor at the Architecture and Design studios of Mimar Sinan University, and regularly attending workshops organized and invited as speaker by various universities, Çırpıcı continues his studies at the Department of Sociology, İstanbul University."
