ATİLLA KUZU
Atilla Kuzu: “He received his M.A. degree from the Department of Industrial Product Design, Division of Interior Architecture, Marmara University in 1987. Established Zoom / Tpu (Design Project Implementation) in 1994 partnering with Levent Çırpıcı. He was nominated for the prestigious Aga Khan Award for Architecture for his Figen-Servet Yazıcı Residential Project and was one of the finalists of the WAF Awards for his Maslak Acıbadem and Liv Ulus designs in 2009 and 2011, respectively. Awarded grand prize three times in 2010, 2011 and 2015 in YAPI-TURKEYBUILD for his exhibition stand designs. Awarded “Best Kitchen Design of the Year” in 2010 with “Open” series designed for Intema and “Best Design” award with “Angle” table design for 888 company in Design Turkey. Atilla Kuzu was awarded “Designer of the Year” in 2011 in Elle Decor International Awards and “Fluido” that he designed for Intema was awarded “Best Kitchen” in 2012. He was awarded Red Dot Design Award in 2015 in concept furniture with “Mantis” that he designed for Ozon Design, which is a Zoom Tpu brand. He was awarded grand prize in 2016 with “Mantis” in illumination category in EDIDA Awards organized by Elle Decor International Design Awards. Moreover, he was awarded Elle Décor Designer of the Year award in the same year along with Ozon Design team (Mantis Set). Becoming a finalist in Japan with his ‘Taklamakan’ bank and ‘Barringer’ coffee table designs in Japan International Furniture Design Fair, Kuzu continues mostly interior design and architecture projects as well as product designs.”
